Pump the brakes: The hype train has gone too far on these 5 fantasy options
During this time of the year, the fantasy football world is filled with hype. Beat writers are raving about what they’ve seen from players in mostly nonphysical practices and preseason games where a win or loss has no real significance. Basic game plans on both sides of the ball are common from coordinators during this time of the year. But all of that doesn’t stop fantasy owners from buying into the hype when the good reports start flowing in.
Today, we’re going to pump the brakes and offer caution on several players who have risen up draft boards. For the most part, they are no longer being priced at a happy medium between their ceiling and floor — you have to buy them for a premium. We’ll break down why that might not be your best option heading into your drafts.
Tajae Sharpe, WR, Tennessee Titans
