PFF Fantasy Roundtable: Average draft position reaction
Welcome to the PFF Fantasy Roundtable, where several staff writers and I will offer our own analysis on different fantasy football players and strategies. Each roundtable discussion will have a theme, and we’ll try to continue to have them through the start of the regular season. This week’s theme is average draft position, using data from FantasyFootballCalculator.com. This week we have Pat Thorman, Scott Barrett Brandon Marianne Lee and me. Click on the names to continue the discussion on Twitter. Let’s jump right in.
The player you own the most of at his current ADP
Pat: Eric Ebron, TE, Detroit Lions
The late 13th-round is a steal for Ebron, who has borderline top-five-TE1 potential. With 210 unaccounted-for targets in Detroit’s offense, and Ebron ranking fourth out of 26 tight ends in fantasy points per target during his second year in the league, the potential is obvious and the floor is higher than commonly perceived. By FFC’s ADP, he’s the 17th tight end chosen and already was the TE13 last year.
