Also weird, I had left over money so I spent more than kicker minimum. Maybe it is a holiday miracle.
Full disclosure: when I started this lineup $800 of my salary cap was unused because I had Drew Brees in for Tom Brady and Ryan Succop in for Will Lutz. I decided to pay up in both positions so you could see how far your dollar can stretch this week, but I will play both versions.
Here is a solid lineup for the main slate that you can plug in and tinker with on your way to cashing out.
QB: Tom Brady, New England Patriots ($9,000)
Last week, Matt Moore only completed 12 passes against the Jets, and four of them went for touchdowns. Imagine what Brady will do, especially since he’s always out for blood against his divisional foe. Over his last 12 games against the Jets, Brady has thrown 23 touchdowns to four interceptions. Brady’s 79.2 accuracy rate over the 2016 season is the third best in the league. There might be rain Saturday; if so, pivot to Drew Brees. Problem solved (and you have a stack with either).
