The season seems to have flown by. We’re at Week 10 already and the fantasy playoffs are looming large. I’ve broken down some potential waiver wire grabs for IDP leaguers this week, but as many of you will know, the waiver wire can be pretty barren at this stage of the season. If you can’t find any longer-term prospects to pick up, you can always turn to a streaming approach and grab players for one week only. If that’s a policy you’re interested in pursuing, then be sure to cast an eye over our positional matchup charts and also our projected tackle totals, as these two resources will help you identify which games in particular are shaping up to be IDP-friendly.
Defensive linemen
Adrian Clayborn, Atlanta Falcons
If Atlanta’s Clayborn is still available in your league he’s likely one of the better IDP pickups this week, so don’t wait around to grab him. He’s posted 4.5 sacks in the last five weeks as opposing teams focus in on Vic Beasley, who has started to look like the early first-round pick he was selected to be last season. Clayborn’s been a top-five defensive lineman over the last five weeks, and top-two over the last three weeks, but is a volatile scorer because of his low tackle totals week to week. Clayborn is a decent enough pass-rusher, especially in the one-on-one matchups Beasley is now affording him, and while the Atlanta offense is putting up points it will force their opponents to chase the game, which is more opportunity for Clayborn. It’s unlikely Clayborn can maintain his recent DL1 pace, but he does deserve a low-end DL2 ranking while in this rich vein of form.
