What are the best FanDuel tournaments and GPPs strategies and players for optimal lineups for Week 7 of the 2018 NFL season? This piece will run through each by offering up chalk plays, contrarian plays, and stack options — all from a tournament perspective.

All projected ownership figures come from our FanDuel ownership projections data file. Looking to play cash games on FanDuel? Be sure to check out Tyler Buecher’s Week 7 FanDuel cash game guide.

Quarterbacks

Chalk: Jared Goff ($8,300). We expect Goff to be the only quarterback above 10% owned this week. Even though he’s on the road, the Rams are 10-point favorites against the 49ers, who have given up the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks.

Chalk: Jameis Winston ($7,800). Winston saw a big price hike, but not enough to keep him from being the likely second-highest-owned quarterback of the week. He was last week’s No. 1 overall fantasy quarterback after throwing for 395 yards and four scores in his first game back.

Contrarian: Kirk Cousins ($8,000). Wedged in between the chalky options in terms of price, Cousins should fly under the radar (2%) against the Jets, who have given up over 300 passing yards in three straight games with eight touchdowns ceded in that span.
