As we head into Week 6 of the NFL season, it’s time for a look at the top cash game plays in FanDuel DFS games for fantasy football purposes.

Winning FanDuel cash game lineups continue to have one common theme across them. If you can have an accurate projection on a player’s potential targets and volume within an offense, you can find the best cash game plays of the week. That’s our overall goal here within this weekly article. Fine-tuning the best process in order to play the highest scoring cash game lineups possible. Let’s see what Week 6 has in store for us.

Quarterbacks

It’s still early in the week but I’ve already heard some rumblings of Jameis Winston not being a cash-viable option this week. Winston is absolutely a player that I’d feel comfortable with starting in my cash-game lineups as he should provide both a high floor and a high ceiling. The Buccaneers nonexistent run game will force Winston to drop back early and often to keep pace with the Atlanta Falcons and their 30.5-point implied total this week. Backed by a plethora of receiving weapons that he can target at every level of the defense, Winston should have a field day against this injury-depleted secondary in Atlanta.

Baker Mayfield is likely more of a cash option than someone with the upside to take down a tournament, but he draws a quality matchup this week with the Chargers travelling east for a 1 p.m. matchup. The Chargers defense has been susceptible to big games — Jared Goff threw for 354 yards and three touchdowns (26.6 FD pts) and Patrick Mahomes dropped 256 passing yards with four passing touchdowns. Mayfield has improved with the more Cleveland has asked him to do and he currently ranks as our No. 5 quarterback.
