The stacking strategy in DFS involves pairing multiple skill position players from the same team. In some occasions, there is value in loading up with an “onslaught” — as it’s termed in the DFS community — with sometimes up to four players from the same team.
Just like any strategy option in DFS, there are multiple ways to grab value from stacking. You can pay up for your stack and find two of the highest-scoring players in all of DFS that week. Sometimes, you can even find two of the highest scorers without paying up and instead finding value in the middle range. And of course, you can win using my favorite strategy — bargain stacks that allow you to find game-winners in the rest of your lineup.
Every week we’ll break down all of my favorite stacks overall and make the case for why you should be using them in your DFS tournament and cash games. This week’s slate is light and concentrated with the three games going off on Thanksgiving before anything else. Let’s jump right in.

Russell Wilson, QB, J.D. McKissic, RB, and Doug Baldwin, WR, Seattle Seahawks
At this point, you’re missing out if you don’t roll out Wilson in some of your weekly stacks. Will ownership be high? Sure it will, but that doesn’t matter when everything aligns for a breakout week like it does for him in Week 12. A matchup against the lowly 49ers defense is just what Wilson needs to hit QB1 numbers overall for a second straight week. Avoid Jimmy Graham, as the 49ers are surprisingly stingy against TEs, having only allowed the 26th-most points to opposing TEs this year. Instead, target McKissic for cheap because the 49ers have allowed the most receiving yards per game to opposing RBs and because McKissic is the last man standing in that backfield. You should also hone it on Baldwin who draws our second-easiest individual matchup of the entire slate against 49ers slot cornerback K’Waun Williams. The 49ers allow the fourth-most points to opposing fantasy QBs and they rank dead last at No. 32 overall in pass coverage. Pricing point and ownership are the only things to not absolutely love about this stack.
