Finding bargains and values in DFS is the key to any winning roster, both in cash games and tournaments. Our goal today is to find you the best bargains for your cash games and tournaments. We will specify what games to use each bargain in and how to capitalize on them in each given week.
High ownership is to be expected from some of these bargains, and we will touch in that in the writeup, so they should be used in Cash games. However, some of these players are also excellent buys for tournaments and won’t have high ownership percentages. Generally speaking, quarterback is the one position where ownership tends to be spread out the most — in other words, feel free to use these bargains both in tournaments and cash games.
DraftKings and FanDuel
Eli Manning, QB, New York Giants
Manning has racked up six touchdowns (one rushing) and 654 passing yards over the past two games as the Giants have shifted to a faster tempo on offense. Despite the production and shift in scheme, Manning is just $6,100 on DK and $7,000 on FD. If you buy him on FD, you’re paying less than you would for Jacoby Brissett, Blake Bortles, and Joe Flacco. The Giants use more no-huddle at home, and given the fact that Philip Rivers should throw all over an injured Giants defense, we could likely be looking at 50-plus pass attempts for Manning. At this price, that’s gold.
Carson Palmer, QB, Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals have altered their offensive approach post-David Johnson injury and it involves an even heavier dosage of pass attempts. Bruce Arians is featuring Andre Ellington in the passing game while getting deep threats John Brown and Jaron Brown back into the mix. The Eagles have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing QBs this season despite controlling the game clock, running the ball successfully, and taking the air out of the ball in two of their four games.
