We publish roughly 30 pieces of fantasy advice a week here at PFF. It varies from “what does last week mean” to “what pairs of teammates should you use” to “don’t use player X because he faces player Y.” It’s our attempt, however successful, at offering every piece of advice a fantasy player might want for that week’s lineup, and for lineups down the road.

So below, in our weekly cheat sheet, don’t stop. It’s five pieces of advice. Key advice, sure, representative of our full assortment of tips and tricks for the week to come. But still, it’s only five pieces. If you want to have your best week in fantasy, don’t stop with this.

All that said, if you’re short on time, this cheat sheet will get you part of the way to where you need to be. Below, you’ll find five of our top pieces of advice from the week, with links to the pieces the advice is drawn from. After that, you’ll find links to the rest of our season-long content for the week, and from there we move on to our DFS advice. Good luck in Week 11.

Season-long fantasy

Upgrade New England RB LeGarrette Blount
(from Jeff Ratcliffe’s flex rankings)

The 49ers have had the worst run defense in the league this season, by a wide margin. Blount is coming off a three-touchdown game, and even with Dion Lewis likely to return, he’ll still be the top ball-carrier for New England in a game where they should be inclined to run the ball after taking what should be a big early lead. Blount could build on his league-leading 12 rushing touchdowns (no one else has more than nine).

Sit Miami QB Ryan Tannehill
(from Dan Schneier’s start/sit advice)

Tannehill is coming off a strong Week 10 game against San Diego, but he’s notoriously inconsistent as it is, and now draws a Rams team that isn’t exactly special overall, but does have PFF’s No. 1 pass rush grade and No. 3 overall defense grade. Tannehill will have his moments, but they’ll come alongside down games as well, and this week looks like one of the downs.

Add Tennessee WR Rishard Matthews
(from Jeff Ratcliffe’s waiver wire check)

That’s now six touchdowns in the last six games for Matthews, including at least one score in five different games. As QB Marcus Mariota has become dominant, Matthews’ numbers have shot up as well, and he’s the team’s top wide receiver option now. He’s a WR3 going forward.

Buy Chicago TE Zach Miller
(from Mike Tagliere’s stock market check)

The suspension of Bears WR Alshon Jeffery leads most fantasy owners to Cameron Meredith as the prime beneficiary first, and Meredith should see a big bump in attention, but Miller should also get a big boost. His production is highly linked to his targets (the last two years, he averaged 4.4 PPR fantasy points in games with four or fewer targets, and 14.2 in games with five or more). There are only so many pass-catchers available in the Chicago offense, so expect plenty of targets for Miller, which should mean production.

Stream San Francisco QB Colin Kaepernick
(from Mike Castiglione’s look at QB streamers)

Kaepernick has been a top-five fantasy quarterback over the last two weeks, which includes a game against Arizona. His running ability means he almost always has a high floor, and he’s shown to have a decent ceiling. Kaepernick’s biggest weakness is his struggles against the pass rush, but in Week 11, he and the 49ers play the Patriots, who have graded out as PFF’s sixth-worst pass rush so far this season.
