(As we lead up to training camp, our Pat Thorman will offer his 32 Questions, running through the biggest fantasy-related question for each team, one division at a time.)

Rookies report to camp this weekend, and fantasy drafts are not far away. We are taking one last offseason spin around the league to ask a fantasy-relevant question for each team. The NFC South is up next.

Atlanta Falcons

Does Matt Ryan need a high-end tight end to thrive?

The Falcons piled up the sixth-most yards (5,993) in 2015, but only the 21st-most points (339), while Matt Ryan finished as the 18th-highest-scoring fantasy quarterback. In 2014, when he tied for fantasy QB6 status, the offense’s production gap was narrower — eighth in yards and 12th in points. High-leverage situations were a major culprit in 2015, as the Falcons had an NFL-high nine red-zone turnovers, after ranking sixth-best in 2014.
