Fantasy preview of the ACC Atlantic

Following the recent breakdown of the SEC (the West and the East), let’s switch conferences and preview the fantasy college football season with respect to the Atlantic Division of the ACC.

Boston College Eagles

Change is in air for the Eagles after ranking 125th of 128 FBS teams in total offense last season. Of course, after a 6-2 final score in the spring game, those changes appear to have left them with far from a finished product. With philosophical shades of the spread offense run under Urban Meyer while at Florida, new offensive coordinator Scot Loeffler will attempt to transform the Eagles offense away from an option-styled approach. The key to that change rests on the shoulders of graduate transfer QB Patrick Towles who, at Kentucky in 2015, completed 55.8 percent of his passes, only 30.7 percent when under pressure, and a minuscule 6.6 yards per attempt. Look elsewhere for fantasy.
