Heading into kickoff time, a few fantasy relevant players remain to be game-time decisions. They include: Andre Ellington, Alshon Jeffery, C.J. Anderson, and Zach Miller.
As a reminder, there are five status designations players can have: active, probable, questionable, doubtful and out. The active and out designations are self-explanatory. The probable designation signifies a player has a greater than 50 percent chance of being active for the game. Questionable means the player essentially has a 50-50 chance of playing. Doubtful means the player has less than a 25 percent chance of playing.
Note: Below, if I refer to an injury that I’ve previously described in detail, I’ll provide a link to that past article.
Players already declared out include: Andrew Luck, Brian Hoyer, Peyton Manning, Tony Romo, Andy Dalton, Jonathan Stewart, Marshawn Lynch, Kendall Wright, Ty Montgomery, Andrew Hawkins, Andre Roberts, Charles Johnson, Tyler Eifert, Crockett Gillmore, and Charles Clay.
Players listed as doubtful who aren’t expected to play: T.J. Yeldon, Steve Johnson, Julian Edelman, and Marlon Brown.
Players listed as questionable who will likely see close to their usual workloads include: Rishard Matthews, Eric Ebron, Scott Chandler, and Calvin Johnson.
Players listed as probable who will likely see their usual workloads include: Ryan Fitzpatrick, Matt Schaub, Johnny Manziel, Sam Bradford, Matthew Hasselbeck, DeAngelo Williams, Lamar Miller, Ronnie Hillman, Chris Polk, Alfred Blue, Davante Adams, Brandon Marshall, Eric Decker, Larry Fitzgerald, Jarvis Landry, Allen Hurns, Demaryius Thomas, Danny Amendola, Amari Cooper, Anquan Boldin, Dez Bryant, Emmanuel Sanders, Ted Ginn, DeSean Jackson, Jordan Matthews, Dontrelle Inman, Cody Latimer, Greg Olsen, Rob Gronkowski, Travis Kelce, Heath Miller, Luke Willson, Vance McDonald, and Owen Daniels.
These players’ injury situations warrant a closer look this morning:
Quarterbacks
Tom Brady missed Friday’s practice due to an illness. He’s listed as questionable for today’s game.
Brady is expected to play. This illness shouldn’t affect his performance. He’s safe to start in all fantasy lineups today.
