Fallout from injuries to Manning, Bradford, and Edelman

The number of injuries that occurred this week was low, but the significance of them was quite high. Julian Edelman will likely miss the rest of the regular season, and Peyton Manning will likely be on the sidelines for the foreseeable future.

I’ll cover all of the fantasy-relevant injuries you need to know heading into Week 11. As with every week, this article will be updated throughout the week as more is known regarding these injuries.

Quarterbacks

Andrew Luck is healing up from an abdominal tear, fractured rib, and lacerated kidney. The Colts initial timetable for his return is apparently 2-6 weeks.

Unlike Keenan Allen, Luck didn’t require surgery to treat his kidney laceration. That leaves the door open for a quicker return. However, a two-week return is very unlikely. Considering all of his injuries—most notably the kidney laceration—I don’t expect to see Luck back on the field any sooner than four weeks. In fact, I think it will be closer to six weeks.
