Easy Like Sunday Morning - Week 4

Charlie+Whitehurst+Tennessee+Titans+v+Atlanta+Q2xxEpPASBxlWe’ve reached the bye week gauntlet, and with six teams on bye there’s a good chance you’re feeling the squeeze this week. Running back is thin in general this year, and the byes make things especially tricky.

If you’re really in a pinch, you can possibly try someone like Branden Oliver or Darrin Reaves this week. Neither is particularly desirable, but both will likely see their share of touches with injuries decimating the Chargers and Panthers backfields. You could certainly do worse.

Speaking of injuries, make sure you check out the Sunday morning redux edition of Dr. Dave Pratt's Fantasy Injury Ward. Of course, if you want a heads up on Mother Nature, you can check out our friends over at NFLWeather.com. It's not just forecasts either. They have a treasure trove of information, so I highly recommend surfing around a bit.

If you're looking for some last-minute insight, we had some excellent content this week. This week, Scott Spratt tells you why there's reason to like Lorenzon Taliaferro going forward. Want to know who will be covering your receivers this weekend? Mike Clay's Wide Receiver Matchup Chart has everything you need to know about the Week 4 matchups. Staying with the matchups, Dan Schneier's starting Ben Roethlisberger in a great matchup this week. If your interested in which teams are likely to run the most plays on offense, I suggest you check out Pat Thorman's work every week.

We love all things defense here at PFF Fantasy. In leagues with just team defense, Eli Nachmany's D/ST Wins Championships is a great resource. This week, Eli doesn't have the Chargers as one of his three recommended plays. If IDP is you’re thing, we have the information to help you dominate your league with the tackle report and three-down linebacker report. We also get a little more in-depth with my weekly Breakdown and In the Trenches from Ross Miles.

Our Daily Fantasy Sports offerings will pay for the subscription to Fantasy Gold in one week. If you've been following along with my column on FanDuel, you'll know that we're already up $51 for the season. If you play on DraftKings, Pat Thorman is helping you pad your bankroll each week. Of course, there's still more. Renee Miller breaks down the “all average” DFS roster strategy, Joey Cartolano tells you why he's fading Calvin Johnson this week, and Dan Schneier discusses why he likes a Rivers/Royal stack against the Jags.

It's about that time of the season where you may be looking to make a trade. If you are, Tyler Loechner's Trade Value Chart is an invaluable resource for gauging player value. Likewise, Ryan McKee's work on trade strategy is tremendously useful.

Well be updating our rankings right up until kickoff, so check back early and often. If you have any start/sit questions, make sure you join us for our Week 4 War Room Hangout live on Google from 11:00 – noon EST.
