  • The Redskins take advantage of the early run on quarterbacks and wide receivers at the top of the first round, and end up with Alabama DI Jonathan Allen, who many expected to be drafted within the top five picks.
  • While there are rumors of potential medical issues, Allen was incredibly productive at Alabama, and was our highest-rated interior lineman in the draft.
  • Allen recorded 67 pressures last season, which was tied for the most of any interior lineman in the past three seasons.
  • The Alabama product has the versatility to line up all over the line, depending on the situation, and is a steal at this point in the first round.
