With Saturday’s matchup in the books, draft season is officially underway. Here are the most notable performances from the action in St. Petersburg, as the West team defeated the East with a score of 29-9:
West All-Stars
Oregon's Vernon Adams Jr was the only QB on either roster to throw with any level of rhythm and accuracy (+2.6 overall). He showed his full range of skills, picking up two first downs with his legs and throwing for three scores. His best throw of the day was his second touchdown, as he looked off the safety and hit his man in stride in the middle of the end zone on a post route.
Wisconsin safety Michael Caputo was only tested twice in coverage, but made the East quarterbacks pay on both occasions with interceptions (+2.4 coverage). The first was in the end zone on an overthrown fade route, while the second was against his Wisconsin teammate Joel Stave, as Caputo read a slant route perfectly and beat the hesitant receiver to the ball.
Montana's DE Tyrone Holmes spent the majority of his reps lined up opposite Mississippi OT Fahn Cooper (more on him later), and took full advantage (+4.2 overall). He posted three hurries, a run stop and forced a holding penalty, all against Cooper.

East All-Stars
One of the great joys of the all-star circuit is seeing prospects from small school step up to the challenge of top competition, and at this year’s Shrine Game that player was Stony Brook's OLB Victor Ochi. He was the top pass rusher in the game (+2.6), as he racked up a sack, a hit and three hurries. He also had three run stops, but did take a costly offsides penalty on a 4th-and-short play. Despite the penalty, Ochi was one of the real standouts of the game and certainly elevated his stock.
Anthony Harrell’s graduate year at Florida did not go as planned, but his play on Saturday certainly turned the heads of NFL scouts in attendance. He had five tackles, three run stops and an interception, putting his versatility on full display (+2.3 overall).
As highlighted above, Mississippi OT Fahn Cooper simply did not have an answer for Tyrone Holmes. Cooper looked stuck in quicksand at times, as he struggled with the edge speed and inside quickness of the former Montana Grizzly. His overall grade of -5.5 was the lowest of the game, and his lowest grade of the season.
