Ravens receivers struggled to force missed tackles in 2016

  • Steve Smith, now retired, led the Ravens with 12 missed tackles forced last year.
  • Mike Wallace was second on the team with eight, but no other receivers forced more than two.
  • One receiver who would be a perfect mid-round option for Baltimore is Louisiana Tech’s Carlos Henderson, who forced 48 missed tackles in 2016, 22 more than the FBS’ next best receiver with 26.
  • That mark of 48 is 15 higher than any other WR in the FBS over the past three seasons.

Fantasy Slant: A favorite of our fantasy staff, Henderson currently ranks fourth in our pre-draft rookie wide receiver rankings. The Ravens would be a solid landing spot for Henderson's fantasy prospects. Baltimore currently has very little beyond Wallace and Breshad Perriman on their depth chart.
