Position fit:

Offensive tackle

Stat to know:

97.4 pass blocking efficiency was 34th in FBS

Combine stats:

Height: 6-5
Weight: 307
Arm length: 35 ⅛ inches
Hand size: 10 ⅝ inches
Bench: 22
*Did not participate in drills at combine or pro day due to knee injury

What he does best:

–Lines up a down block as well as anyone in the class. Highest-graded tackle on the playside of power runs in the class
–Takes great angles of attack on double teams. Gets clean shots on the defender instead of his own left guard
–Very patient in finding linebackers at the second level. Won’t fly to second level out of control and regularly locks in
–Good power throughout his frame. Can drop his hips and drive

Biggest concern:

–Far too easily knocked off balance. Has his shoulder pads out in front of his feet too often
–Knock kneed and awkward in his pass sets. Projection that area because he took very few true pass sets in Auburn’s offense
–Likes to duck his head when delivering his punch in pass protection
–Played a good amount as an extra tight end on the right side and footwork was an issue. A transition to right tackle could be rocky
–Already 24 years old

Bottom line:

Coleman is already one of the most polished run blockers in the class, but his age and inexperience as a pass blocker will push him down draft boards
