  • Giants LBs perennially struggle, particularly in coverage. In 2016, the best QB rating surrendered among the group was Keenan Robinson’s 83.6 mark.
  • New York, which employ man coverage on more than 30 percent of snaps (close to tops in the league), was recently linked to Florida’s Jarrad Davis. He has the athletic ability to cover RBs and TEs, ranking 49th in yards per cover snap while playing injured in 2016.
  • Defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo likes to bring creative pressure. Davis was effective as blitzer when asked to rush, ranking 13th among LBs in pass-rushing productivity.
  • Missed tackles are probably his biggest concern for Davis, as he recorded a tackling efficiency of just 6.6, 128th in the LB class.
