  • Ohio State defensive end Tyquan Lewis enters the 2017 season as a PFF Day 2 projection for the 2018 NFL Draft.
  • Lewis was a menace to opposing quarterbacks as a junior last season, registering 51 total pressures. His pass rush productivity (PRP) of 13.3 ranks eighth among draft eligible edge defenders. (PRP measures pressure created on a per snap basis with weighting towards sacks.)
  • His power was one of his best assets last year as he applied a bull rush pressure every 18 rushes, which was the best rate in the draft class.
  • Lewis has also been productive against the run, earning a PFF run defense grade of 81.4 in 2015 and 77.8 in 2016.
