  • Florida State junior edge defender Josh Sweat recorded 31 total pressures in 2016, good enough to rank him No. 2 among returning ACC 3-4 outside linebackers.
  • A former five-star recruit, Sweat ranked No. 5 in tackling efficiency (11.7) among that same group of outside linebackers as he has missed only seven of his 76 career tackle attempts.
  • Though highly regarded as a pass-rusher, Sweat hasn’t drawn as great of reviews for his play against the run. He ranked No. 99 among FBS draft-eligible edge defenders in run stop percentage at 4.8.
