It’s not as flashy as it’s free agency brother, but “cutday” may be the most frantic for all NFL front offices.

There isn’t another time of the year where they have to be so reactive to every move every team is making, ready to pounce on possible talents who might improve their roster or be worth developing on their practice squad.

To help you keep up to date we’re going to be providing details on all the moves in each divisional page. Keep coming back for each and every player released with stats, snaps and grades on all of them.

Arizona Cardinals

Dan Buckner, WR: Was targeted just four times and though he caught two of them, that was never enough to challenge players involved far more.

Mike Thomas, WR: They picked him up on waivers to see what he had to offer, and ultimately decided it wasn't much. Played 27 snaps and did catch a touchdown, but Thomas now finds himself looking for his third team in three weeks.

Charles Hawkins, WR: Played well enough in preseason (+2.5) that he won't be out of work for long. A prime practice squad candidate, he's got some real playmaking ability about him but needs to cut down on the errors (two drops and one fumble).

Austin Collie, WR: Probably time to start wondering “what if” when it comes to Collie, who just isn't the player he once was. Found himself well down the depth chart, where catching 5-of-8 balls just wasn't enough.

Chad Hall, WR: Tried to get him some work on defense to improve his versatility but ultimately decided the team were better off without. Caught 6 of the 12 balls thrown his way but struggled to make anything happen after the catch.

Michael Robinson, FB: An illness limited Robinson to just 12 preseason snaps and that was enough for Spencer Ware to sneak in and steal his job. Ware isn't the blocker Robinson is but he does run the ball well. It's an intriguing development and it will be interesting to see where Robinson lands up (and how quickly).

St Louis Rams

Austin Davis, QB: Preseason is an audition and Davis largely fluffed his lines in trying to compete and unseat Kellen Clemens. Would complete more passes (51.9%) and throw less picks than Clemens but that didn't tell the whole story as Clemens would finish with a +3.2 grade and Davis a mere -2.3.

Eric Stevens, FB:

Emory Blake, WR: With the team so deep at receiver, Blake eliminated any chance of making the roster with his -2.6 worth performance.

Nick Johnson, WR: Saw 77 snaps and ran 49 routes, but averaged just 1.16 yards per route and it wasn't enough to make any of the established boys sweat.

Justin Veltung, WR: When you average 0.61 yards per route run it's safe to say you're not a big part of your teams immediate future.
