A top five quarterback on the year on a per-game basis, Philip Rivers is a high-end QB1 option against the hapless Redskins defense. The Skins have allowed 16 total touchdowns in seven games, including touchdowns to Matt Flynn and Josh McCown, which means Rivers can sure get his. Keenan Allen is coming on as a legitimate threat, including top 25 numbers in yards per pass route run and 25 targets combined in his last three games. Every staffer has Rivers ranked No. 5 or higher, and I'll agree with that. You can't bench a Drew Brees or Aaron Rodgers, but if your other option is a guy like RGIII or Andrew Luck, consider Rivers.
