Quarterbacks
Over the last 4 weeks, the 3rd highest scoring QB has been Andy Dalton. Ahead of guys like Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning and Drew Brees, Dalton has quietly put together a stellar sophomore campaign with 23 touchdowns through 11 games, including 10 touchdowns and 0 interceptions over his last 3 games. He plays a reeling Chiefs team, although you can bet they'll come out inspired and fierce at home after the Jovan Belcher tragedy. Regardless, Dalton should be firmly planted as a QB1, and I actually think the consensus of No. 12 may be a bit low. I like Mike Clay's No. 9 spot, which is Dalton's high for the week, although the low is merely No. 14.
We've got some variation on Mr. Colin Kaepernick, with a high of No. 9 from Austin Lee and a low of No. 18 from Jeff Ratcliffe. I still consider him a wild card, as he played well against a tough Chicago defense but didn't manage much in terms of fantasy gold against New Orleans. He does have a small sample size earlier this year against the Rams, going 11 for 17, 117 yards in the air and 66 rush yards and a rushing touchdown. Based on that latter part, I think Kaepernick is a borderline QB1, but I think our rankings for him are slightly high, mainly since you know Freeman and Palmer will be hucking the ball and putting up stats. I'll take Kaepernick over Rivers and below in our rankings.
