Taking a quick look at a few facts concerning the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), we see that it was established in 1953 and has claimed national championship titles on seven occasions. Recent additions to the conference include: Miami and Virginia Tech in 2004, Pittsburgh and Syracuse in 2013, and Louisville in 2014.
