Charcandrick West leads the Week 6 waiver adds

If you haven’t been bitten by the injury bug this year, consider yourself very lucky. It seems like each week that passes, a more devastating injury occurs, and fantasy owners are left scrambling.

Fortunately, that’s what the waiver wire is for. Even when you’re knocked down, you’re never really out of it as long as you stay active with adding potential impact free agents to your fantasy squad.

Here are the top waiver wire adds for Week 6.

Quarterbacks

Teddy Bridgewater, Vikings (ESPN 27% owned; 6% FAAB) – It’s been a brutal start for Bridgewater, and his once-lucrative fantasy stock has fallen to the point where he’s now widely-available on waivers. Recall his rookie season when Bridgewater was brought along slowly before becoming a solid quarterback down the stretch. Maybe after a bye week, we see some improvements and Bridgwater becomes a reliable QB2 again. For streamers looking for a one-week fill-in, the Vikings have an excellent Week 6 matchup against a Kansas City secondary that has surrendered the most touchdown passes in the league.
