Browns Josh Gordon to return by Week 12?

PFF-headlinesThe recent negotiations between the NFL and NFLPA look like having an impact on the 2014 seasons of a number of players. None more so than Josh Gordon who looked to be taking a year off from the game but now, according to Adam Schefter, could be heading back after sitting out 10 games.

Clearly this is big news for a Browns receiver group that doesn't knock your socks off with the talent oozing from it. Indeed there's no doubt that Gordon, who was behind just Calvin Johnson with 2.68 yards per route in 2014, would be a huge upgrade at the spot making life easier for whoever is playing quarterback at that time.

Until then the team will continue to roll with Andrew Hawkins, Miles Austin, Taylor Gabriel and Travis Benjamin as their go to guys. In Week 1 it was Hawkins who justified the teams decision to move for him in the offseason with 87 yards on 22 routes with his efforts earning him a +1.7 grade for the day.
