We're three games into the AAF season, and with that, here is the new top-ten ranking after three weeks of AAF football. The newcomers to the top-ten are DI Julius Warmsley, ED Edmond Robinson, DI Shakir Soto, DI Casey Sayles, and S Derron Smith. Those who were knocked off include WR De’Marcus Ayers, S Will Hill, QB John Wolford, WR Rashad Ross, and QB Garrett Gilbert.

[Editor's note: These rankings are compiled using multiple factors and do not rely on grades alone. These factors include playing time and positional value etc.]

Charles Johnson ranks first in overall grade (83.4) among wide receivers with at least 10 targets this season, and he has gained an average of 4.07 yards per route run which ranks first at the position by over 1.5 yards. In addition, Johnson has also generated a passer rating of 129.2 on his targets and has gained an average of 21.8 yards per reception. His numbers are off the charts so far, and he should get a tough test next week against the Stallions in Salt Lake.

Julius Warmsley has been one of the few bright spots for the 0-3 Memphis Express in their first season. He has wreaked havoc in the trenches, as his run-defense grade of 84.3 ranks second among interior defenders. Warmsley has recorded six total pressures (four hurries, two sacks) and six run stops this year, and has earned overall grades higher than 87.0 in two of his three games so far.

Edmond Robinson has played a limited amount of snaps (73 snaps across three games to be exact), but he has earned an overall grade of 86.1, ranking second out of 30 qualifying edge defenders. The Hotshots love to use him in coverage and for good reason; Robinson’s 17 coverage snaps are the fourth-most among edge defenders, and his 91.0 coverage grade is tied for first.
