Week 16 marks the last week of the NFL season that we can reasonably trust teams in the NFL to give their starters their standard workload, without fear of players being rested for the playoffs to prevent injury. The salaries offered this week features a similar level of bargain wideouts and tailbacks priced for DFS players to take advantage of. Each week, we’ll feature the top punt options at running back and wide receiver that present the most value for your daily fantasy lineups.
Running Backs
Karlos Williams, Buffalo Bills- FanDuel $5,400, DraftKings $4,500, Yahoo $18
With LeSean McCoy ruled out for Week 16 with MCL issue, Williams appears ready to step into the lead role for the Bills this Sunday. Mike Gillislee popped up on the radar last week and did manage to find paydirt, but all indications from Buffalo beat writers and PFF’s projection this week (15.8 points on DraftKings) which is nearly double Gillislees’, point to Williams being the running back to own the Buffalo backfield.
Dallas has struggled as much as anyone in the league against the run in 2015, grading out 29th in rushing defense and 25th overall defensively. The 2015 5th round pick has shown the versatility to be a running and passing game threat, with five of his TDs earned on the ground and two more touchdowns coming in as a backfield receiver. Williams makes for a GPP option on FanDuel and DraftKings.
