This Weeks IDP snap report has a little bit of everything in the front seven, but it’s the edge defenders that highlight the week. Some of the most well-known pass rushers returned to action this week, but for some it’s best to be cautious before starting them. Other pass rushers suffered injuries while their replacements made a good impression. Here are the players who saw significantly more or less snaps in Week 10, and what it means for them and their teammates going forward.
Bears Defensive End
Throughout the season the Bears have lost defensive linemen, and this past week they were without Shea McClellin. In his place, Julius Peppers saw a season high 92% of snaps, while Corey Wootton played in 90% of snaps which was the second most for him as he saw snaps at both defensive end and defensive tackle. If McClellin continues to miss time, these two players are safer starts than usual. This is especially true this week against the Ravens weak offensive line.
