IDP News and Notes in Focus: Week 12

I wanted to start off by saying Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and appreciate all those that have subscribed to the site and read my weekly pieces. Here's to hoping a safe and football filled Thanksgiving. I wanted to get this piece out ahead of the Turkey Day festivities with kick-off of the first game scheduled around 12:30. Hopefully, we won't be in a tryptophan induced coma by that point (hey, I get to eating early and often). As we head into Week 12, this is a crucial time for fantasy leagues, so all of the news and information is key to your playoff push, so here's a look at some of the news and notes surrounding the IDP landscape….

The addition of Aqib Talib has allowed the Patriots flexibility to keep Devin McCourty at free safety. McCourty has been playing the safety spot since Week 7 and has been just as productive from an IDP standpoint. In 395 snaps at CB, he recorded 31 tackles, while at FS, he's recorded 22 tackles in 300 defensive snaps.
