IDP Lineup Decisions – Week 13

AnsahGriffenIn this weekly column I’ll highlight some top IDP options that aren’t always “must-start” players. I’ll also hit on some of the players most likely to disappoint in week 13.

Here’s complete season and weekly projections that can be customized to your league’s scoring for all those tough start/sit calls. For specific questions you can always ask me via twitter @NateNFL.

Defensive Line

Start

Ezekiel Ansah DE1 vs GB

Detroit’s rookie end returned last week with an impact start against the Bucs. His two sacks were the first since week 5 when Detroit played Green Bay. They match up again with their division foe this week in an NFC North Thanksgiving Day showdown. Ansah is an all or nothing play but there’s plenty of upside against the Packers offensive line and backup quarterback Matt Flynn.

Derrick Morgan DE2 vs IND

Morgan has struggled to produce consistent numbers for fantasy owners this season. Through 12 weeks he only has four sacks although two have come in the last three weeks. This week he’ll have a shot to add to his total against the Indianapolis line and Andrew Luck.
