IDP Lineup Decisions – Week 13

Miami Dolphins v New York JetsIn this weekly column I’ll highlight some top IDP options that aren’t always “must-start” players. I’ll also hit on some of the players most likely to disappoint this week.

Here’s complete season and weekly projections that can be customized to your league’s scoring for all those tough start/sit calls. For specific questions you can always ask me via twitter @NateNFL.

Defensive Line

Start

Olivier Vernon DL2 vs NYJ

Vernon hasn’t posted eye popping numbers recently but he’s still registering a sack about every other game. His level of play has at least eased the pain of the Dion Jordan draft pick.

Vernon is poised for a big game in the final week of the fantasy football regular season for many. The Dolphins really need to bounce back and the Jets offense is a train wreck.

Michael Johnson DL2 vs CIN

Johnson’s another player who’s been inconsistent lately. He missed week 10 with injury, posted a decent start in week 11 and then a dud last week.

He should be back to full health by now and there’s a good chance he puts up another solid performance against the
Bengals.
