IDP Lineup Decisions – Week 10

pierrepaul1In this weekly column I’ll highlight some top IDP options that aren’t always “must-start” players. I’ll also hit on some of the players most likely to disappoint in week 10.

Here’s complete season and weekly projections that can be customized to your league’s scoring for all those tough start/sit calls. For specific questions you can always ask me via twitter @NateNFL.

Defensive Line

Jason Pierre-Paul DE1

JPP has been one of the most disappointing IDPs this season but there are some positives moving forward. This week the Giants are coming off a bye and face Oakland. He’s prime for a big, breakout performance.

Justin Smith DE2

Smith’s another defensive end coming off a bye week. He’s only had two impact starts this season. This week Carolina rolls into Frisco and based on our projections and expert rankings Smith should sneak into the top 24. As a 3-4 end Smith doesn’t have a ton of upside, but if you need a defensive lineman to give you solid tackle production he’s an option against the Panthers.
