IDP Lineup Decisions – Week 10

ansah pick sixIn this weekly column I’ll highlight some top IDP options that aren’t always “must-start” players. I’ll also hit on some of the players most likely to disappoint this week.

Here’s complete season and weekly projections that can be customized to your league’s scoring for all those tough start/sit calls. For specific questions you can always ask me via twitter @NateNFL.

Defensive Line

Ziggy Ansah DL1 vs MIA

The Lions defensive line has been one of the most impressive units so far this season. Detroit had a bye in week 9 so Ansah and company should be fresh and ready to roar this weekend.

The Dolphins are a good matchup for defensive ends, especially ones with Ansah’s playstyle. He’ll get after quarterback Ryan Tannehill but should also post solid tackle numbers as well.

Geno Atkins DL2 vs CLE

You won’t see me post many defensive tackles on the start side of the ledger in this column. But Atkins is a special player and the Browns are really struggling in the middle of their offensive line.

Look for the Bengals defensive line to have a big game on Thursday Night Football where offenses are already behind the eight ball due to the short week. Carlos Dunlap is an every week starter and Wallace Giberry is a low end DL2 with upside.
