Hunting for top 3 RB production

Having a top three producer at the running back position can be just what you need to claim a championship title. If that player is a second or even third round selection, your odds of a stellar season increase that much more. Just as important is not wasting an early selection on a player who is unlikely to reach that pinnacle.

Driven by the results of my research examining the 21 running backs over the past seven fantasy seasons that have achieved top three production, I have created a cheat sheet of the top 12 running backs by ADP (average draft position) to increase your odds of drafting a running back that will reach top three production in 2015 by examining how they score in what I found to be the four most critical factors.

While the presence of these four criteria in no way ensures top three production, how prevalent they have been in the running backs that have produced at a high level will cause you to think twice before taking a running back with an anticipated weak score in any one area.
