Greg Ward, Jr. is the CFB FanDuel play of the week

Last week was a weird week.

My most outlandish plays — RBs Vic Enwere of California and Justin Stockton of Texas Tech — combined for 30 carries and two receptions, yielding 144 yards from scrimmage and two all-purpose touchdowns. That might sound uninspiring, but both of those guys had minimum salaries. Considering the price to acquire them, they returned good value.

Meanwhile, the two players about whom I was the most confident, my Bowling Green State stack of QB Matt Johnson and WR Roger Lewis, combined to do nothing other than ruin my lineup.

I guess the important lesson here is perhaps to avoid stacks in cash games.

And also not to trust guys named “Matt” — they’re the worst.
