Here are the top takeaways and highest-graded players from the Raiders-Seahawks game:

Oakland Raiders

–Easily the best performance of the night for the Raiders came from WR Seth Roberts (+4.0), who had several big plays and came up with crucial catches. Out of his nine targets, he had seven receptions, a touchdown with one of his completions being an impressive 39 yard play, showing his playmaking ability once the ball is in his hands.

–QB Matthew McGloin (+1.6) also had a good night, grading out positively and overcoming a fairly up and down start. Where he really shone was against blitzes, going seven of nine for 105 yards and a TD.

–CB D.J. Hayden (+0.9) rebounded nicely after giving up a reception early. He was thrown at two more times without allowing a completion and even added a pass breakup.

–DE Frank Clark (+2.5) ended his impressive preseason with another great game. He was extremely disruptive in run defense early, amassing three run stops. Later, after initially being fairly average as a pass rusher, he showed up with a sack-fumble that turned into a defensive TD. In this game he solidified his position as one of the standout rookies this preseason.

–WR Tyler Lockett (+1.4) also gave notice this may be another good draft for Seattle. For a player who only played six snaps, he graded impressively. On those few plays, his impact was noticeable with two targets netting two catches and 77 yards.

–Another defensive standout for the Seahawks on Thursday was DT Jordan Hill (+2.4). Although he did not have much impact in pass rush, he had an excellent night in run defense. By the end of the game he tallied two tackles, an assist, and two defensive stops.
