Grades for Cowboys-Chargers

San Diego Chargers

–San Diego is looking for a breakout year from Melvin Ingram and need him to create some edge pressure in their four-man rushes. He got off to a good start, playing only 11 snaps but earning a +2.7 overall grade.

–Brandon Oliver had a good showing earning a 1.1 overall grade on 18 snaps after Melvin Gordon was not able to accomplish much with only six rushes.

–Mitch Unrein helped solidify the run defense once the starters were out, earning a +1.2 run defense grade on the night.

–Corey White had the best coverage grade of the night with a +2.4 on 15 passing plays.

–Lavar Edwards was in 19 plays yet was still able to earn a +1.5 overall grade due to his physicality in the run game. He graded +1.8 on run defense against 11 rushing plays.
