Optimal DraftKings plays for Week 11

Each week I’ll comb through the options at each position to bring you my picks for the players with the best combination of safety and upside over a wide price range. These are guys you’ll use in cash games for the most part, but there’s nothing wrong with slotting a couple into your tournament lineups as well for stability.

Situations that I love but that I’m not going to write up because they’re almost too obvious: Tom Brady $8500, Devonta Freeman $7600, Danny Amendola $4000, Charcandrick West $4500, and Seattle DST $4000. Use any of these guys with confidence.

Derek Carr $6300: Carr has been amazing over the past month or so, even last week in the bad weather against the stout Vikings defense he managed to reach value. And neither Michael Crabtree nor Amari Cooper did much to help him. He’s passed for over 300 yards and earned the DK bonus in three consecutive games.

This week he faces the Lions in Oakland. Detroit is soft against the pass and the run, allowing the third and sixth most fantasy points, respectively. I love all aspects of this game, but Carr is sort of the one stop shop if you want to limit exposure to one player in this one.
