We have just one week left in most fantasy leagues: The championship. It’s crazy to think that just 16 weeks ago, Nelson Agholor was being drafted before Allen Robinson according to consensus ADP.
It’s also crazy to think that Joe Flacco and Jay Cutler were drafted before Carson Palmer. But that doesn’t matter anymore. The landscape of fantasy drafts and ADP shouldn’t mean anything once Week 1 is in the books.
It hurts a little bit inside when you cut a player that you drafted so early, but now is not the time to get sentimental. There are players who are going to play well and there are players who aren’t going to play well in Week 16, but that is where the Fantasy Stock Market comes in handy.
One of the nuggets you’ll find inside the Fantasy Stock Market is that Doug Baldwin and Ted Ginn had played in a combined 203 games over their careers, combining for just two multi-touchdown games. Over their last seven combined games, they have seven multi-touchdown games.
Will the trend continue, or is it time to get out of the stock now before it’s too late?
