We also have an updated Fantasy 124, the fantasy football stock market index showing the value of the (roughly) 124 most valuable fantasy football players on a weekly basis. The index — and the trade value chart below — rely on PFF Fantasy’s Rest of Season projections from Mike Clay. The dollar amounts assume a 12-team league with a $200 cap and a starting lineup of 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, and 1 Flex, with points-per-reception (PPR) scoring.
The Fantasy 124 this week shows that the overall value of quarterbacks rose for the first time in four weeks (up 5.05 percent), but no position saw its value rise as much as tight ends (up 27.71%). Running backs (down 4.63 percent) and wideouts (down 0.45 percent) both fell, as did the overall Fantasy 124 (down 2.15 points to 979.50).
The change tight ends saw week-over-week obviously sticks out the most; it’s possible tight ends were undervalued in last week’s edition, hence the stark rise this week. But we highlighted the tight end position last week, so we'll take a look at some buy low and sell high candidates from the running back position this week.
