The playoffs may be in full force, but staying vigilant on the waiver wire is still an important part of a winning fantasy season. Even if your team appears to be solid, staying proactive and aggressive can still help you win this week and beyond.

Playing defense with waivers is one way you can increase your chances of winning. By outbidding your opponent on a key free agent, even if you don’t need them, you weaken their squad, and that means a better shot for your team to advance.

Whether you’re in need of a streaming option, one week fill-in, or are just trying to hurt your Week 15 opponent, here are some free agents to consider bidding on this week.

Quarterbacks

Most playoff teams have a solid starter, but if you’ve made it this far by streaming, congratulations on running the gauntlet. With another couple of starters going down in Week 14, there are some decent options to consider grabbing for Week 15.

Marcus Mariota, Titans (ESPN 43% owned; FAAB 6%) – Even in a “bad” fantasy week, Mariota put up over 21 points thanks to a long receiving touchdown. The matchup isn’t ideal with the Titans facing Bill Belichick, who will undoubtedly have a solid game plan in place to shut down the rookie signal-caller, but Mariota has produced three straight quality starts and could rack up garbage time numbers.
