5 fantasy players who will bounce back in Week 15

Recapping what to look for in Week 14:

David Johnson (RB13 standard/RB8 PPR) proved a worthwhile RB1 even with a touchdown overturned, and a reminder that he’ll remain an RB1 against Philadelphia and Green Bay…We correctly downgraded Javorius Allen (RB38/24), who now faces a Kansas City run defense graded as PFF’s second-best. … James White (RB18/15) did turn out to be a viable flex option and now gets a slight uptick in value with LeGarrette Blount done for the season. … T.J. Yeldon (RB28/38) was on his way to a solid day with 62 yards on 11 carries before exiting with a knee injury, and owners will miss a golden opportunity if he can’t suit up this week against a Falcons’ defense ranked 31st in fantasy points to opposing running backs. … Matt Forte (RB9/19) saw his previous week’s usage dip as anticipated, getting fewer carries and yards than Jeremy Langford, although the veteran wound up with the bigger fantasy day thanks to a third-quarter touchdown.

For Week 15, we’ll take a look at five bounceback candidates to watch for:

Philip Rivers

Philip Rivers is coming off back-to-back weeks with single-digit fantasy points, likely ending the season for those who started him in lineups. Sometimes, though, you just have to tip your cap to the opposition. After all, Rivers was not expected to flourish against the Broncos and Chiefs, who rank first and sixth, respectively, in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks and are both top-three in PFF defensive grade.

In those past two games, he was pressured on exactly half of his drop backs, a league-high 44 times. What’s more, his accuracy percentage on throws under duress was just 57.1 percent, which is 21st out of 29 qualifiers. Prior to Week 13, he had been pressured on only 35.5 percent of his drop backs (16th) and boasted a league-best 76.4 accuracy percentage on pressured passes.
