Fantasy: The Snap Report – Week 16 Offense

The weekly offensive snap report is a summary of the participation data for each team's running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends. Although the main focus is snaps, we also cover other important categories like pass routes and designed runs.

All 16 Week 16 Games Now Added

Colts 19, Texans 16

Reggie Wayne handled all 76 snaps to lead the Colts’ offense this week. Pierre Garcon was in on 75 plays and Austin Collie worked 46. Jacob Tamme led the tight ends with 43 snaps with Dallas Clark out. Brody Elridge was in on 41 plays and Anthony Hill saw two snaps. Joe Addai’s 39 snaps led the backs. Donald Brown worked 36 plays and Delone Carter saw one.

Jacoby Jones’ 45 snaps led the Texans’ offense in Week 16. Kevin Walter was in on 42 plays and Bryant Johnson handled 17. Owen Daniels led the tight ends with 36 snaps played. Joel Dreessen was in on 31 plays and James Casey handled 10. Arian Foster led the backs with 43 snaps played. Ben Tate was in on only eight plays.

Bengals 23, Cardinals 16

Jermaine Gresham worked all 67 snaps to lead the Bengals’ offense this week. Donald Lee was in on 31 plays. AJ Green’s 62 snaps led the wide receivers. Jerome Simpson handled 56 plays. With Andre Caldwell up, rookie Ryan Whalen stepped into 26 snaps. Andrew Hawkins handled 13. Cedric Benson’s 33 snaps paced the backs. Bernard Scott was in on 20 plays and Cedric Peerman saw eight with Brian Leonard out.

Larry Fitzgerald played all 68 snaps this week to lead the Cardinals’ offense. Andre Roberts worked 66 plays and Early Doucet was in on 52. Chansi Stuckey was the No. 4 wideout, handling six snaps. Beanie Wells’ 45 snaps led the backs. Chester Taylor was in on 13 plays and LaRod Stephens-Howling saw seven. Alfonso Smith added one. Todd Heap’s 26 snaps led a TE committee attack. Jeff King worked 23 plays and Rob Housler handled 21.

Bills 40, Broncos 14

David Nelson was in on 52 plays to lead the Bills’ offense this week. Steve Johnson handled 49 plays and Derek Hagan saw 29. Brad Smith worked 26 snaps and Kamar Aiken made his debut with 11. CJ Spiller paced the backs with 35 snaps played. Tashard Choice was in on 21 plays. Scott Chandler returned with 27 snaps played. Mike Caussin was in on 16 snaps before suffering a season-ending knee injury. Kevin Brock worked nine snaps.

Eric Decker led the Denver wide receivers with 67 snaps played. Demaryius Thomas was just behind, working 63. Eddie Royal was in on 41 plays and Matt Willis saw eight. Daniel Fells’ 59 snaps led the tight ends. Virgil Green handled 14 snaps and Dante Rosario managed 13. Willis McGahee led the backs with 28 snaps. Lance Ball handled 24 plays and Jeremiah Johnson racked up 14.

Raiders 16, Chiefs 13

Darrius Heyward-Bey paced the Raiders’ offense in Week 16 with 47 snaps played. Denarius Moore worked 45 plays. TJ Houshmandzadeh (11 snaps), Chaz Schilens (six), and Louis Murphy (one) saw limited action. Michael Bush handled 44 snaps to lead the backs. Marcel Reece was in on 12 plays and Rock Cartwright saw four. Kevin Boss’ 32 snaps paced the tight ends. Brandon Myers was in on 13 plays. David Ausberry and Richard Gordon each worked a pair of snaps.

Anthony Becht’s 60 snaps led the Chiefs’ offense this week.  Leonard Pope was in on 22 plays. Dwayne Bowe’s 56 snaps led the wide receivers. Steve Breaston (54 snaps) and Jon Baldwin (30) were also heavily involved. Terrance Copper was in on 12 plays. Le’Ron McClain’s 27 snaps led the backs. Jackie Battle was in on 25 plays, compared to 18 for Thomas Jones. Dexter McCluster managed 23 snaps.

Eagles 20, Cowboys 7

DeSean Jackson’s 57 snaps led the Eagles’ offense this week. Jeremy Maclin was in on 55 plays and Jason Avant worked 32. Riley Cooper was involved on seven snaps and Chad Hall saw two. LeSean McCoy’s 41 snaps led the backs. Ronnie Brown was in on 18 plays and Dion Lewis added one. Brent Celek’s 53 snaps paced the tight ends. Clay Harbor worked 23 plays.

Jason Witten was in on all 66 plays this week to lead the Dallas offense. Martellus Bennett added 35 snaps and John Phillips was in on two plays. Miles Austin’s 64 snaps led the wideouts. Dez Bryant worked 52 plays and Laurent Robinson was in on 37. Jesse Holley saw action on three plays. Felix Jones managed only six snaps before resting. Sammy Morris handled 33 snaps and Chauncey Washington was worked in on 17 plays.

Giants 29, Jets 14

Hakeem Nicks was in on 50 plays to lead the Giants’ offense. Victor Cruz worked 45 plays and Ramses Barden managed 19 with Mario Manningham out. Jerrel Jernigan saw some work with 12 snaps and Devin Thomas was in on three plays. Bear Pascoe put up 30 snaps to lead the tight ends with Jake Ballard out. Travis Beckum worked 29 plays. Ahmad Bradshaw’s 25 snaps led the backs. Brandon Jacobs and Danny Ware each managed 15 snaps.

Santonio Holmes led the Jets’ offense with 82 Week 16 snaps. Plaxico Burress was in on 75 plays. Jeremy Kerley worked 54 snaps and Patrick Turner was in on 12. The tight ends were led by a 74-snap day from Dustin Keller. Matt Mulligan was in on 26 plays and Josh Barker worked one. LaDainian Tomlinson’s 55 snaps led the backs. Shonn Greene was in on 33 plays and Joe McKnight saw three.

Lions 38, Chargers 10

Brandon Pettigew led the Lions’ offense this week with 59 snaps played. Will Heller was in on 18 plays and Tony Scheffler handled 14. Calvin Johnson’s 51 snaps led the wide receivers. Nate Burleson was in on 48 plays and Titus Young handled 42. Maurice Stovall and Rashied Davis picked up the scraps with nine snaps each. Kevin Smith paced the backs with 45 snaps. Maurice Morris worked 14 plays.

Antonio Gates’ 66-snap day led the Chargers’ offense in Week 16. Randy McMichael was in on 31 plays, while Kory Sperry saw only one. Malcom Floyd led the wide receivers with 57 snaps. Vincent Jackson wasn’t at 100%, but still played 53 snaps. Patrick Crayton was in on 38 plays and Vincent Brown managed 21. Ryan Mathews led the backs with 37 snaps. Mike Tolbert was just behind at 33.

Panthers 48, Bucs 16

The Panthers’ reserves saw plenty of action in this one, as they had a large lead. Steve Smith still managed to lead the offense, but with only 37 snaps played out of a possible 49. Brandon LaFell was in on 36 plays and Kealoha Pilares racked up 15. Legedu Naanee worked 11 before suffering an injury. Armanti Edwards worked 10 snaps and Darvin Adams was in on one play. Greg Olsen led the tight ends with 27 snaps. Jeremy Shockey was in on 26 plays and Ben Hartsock handled 10. Jonathan Stewart’s 21 snaps led the backs. DeAngelo Williams managed 20 plays and Josh Vaughan was in on 10 plays.

Mike Williams’ 57 snaps paced the Bucs’ offense this week. Dez Briscoe was in on 34 plays, while Sam Stroughter handled 27. Micheal Spurlock (nine snaps) and Preston Parker (six) also saw action. Kellen Winslow’s 54 snaps led the tight ends. Luke Stocker was involved on 29 plays and Zack Pianalto handled seven. Kregg Lumpkin racked up 35 snaps thanks, in part, to LeGarrette Blount’s early benching. Blount worked only seven snaps. Mossis Madu was in on 17 plays.

Patriots 27, Dolphins 24

Wes Welker led the Patriots’ offense this week with 80 snaps played. Deion Branch was in on 76 plays and Chad Ochocinco worked 29. Rob Gronkowski led the tight ends with 80 snaps played. Aaron Hernandez was in on 74 plays. Stevan Ridley’s 28 snaps led the backs. That’s the second time in four games he’s led the unit. Danny Woodhead was in on 15 plays and BenJarvus Green-Ellis handled 11. Kevin Faulk worked 10 snaps.

Brian Hartline’s 57 snaps led the Dolphins’ offense this week. Brandon Marshall was in on 56 plays and Davone Bess worked 37. Clyde Gates managed 11 snaps. With Anthony Fasano out, Charles Clay was in on 53 snaps to lead the tight ends. Jeron Mastrud helped out on nine plays and Will Yeatman was in on 21. Reggie Bush’s 50 snaps led the backs. Lex Hilliard was in on 19 plays and Daniel Thomas lasted only nine before suffering an injury.

Ravens 20, Browns 14

With Anquan Boldin out, Torrey Smith led the Ravens’ offense this week with 62 snaps played. Lee Evans was in on 50 plays and Tandon Doss worked eight. Ed Dickson’s 52 snaps led the tight ends. Dennis Pitta was involved on 38 plays and Kris Wilson worked one. Ray Rice’s 46 snaps led the running backs. Ricky Williams managed 16 plays.

Greg Little was in on all 60 snaps this week to lead the Browns’ offensive attack. Mohamed Massaquoi worked 52 plays and Josh Cribbs was in on 22. Carlton Mitchell managed 18 snaps. Peyton Hillis paced the backs with 56 snaps played. Chris Ogbonnaya was in on six plays. Evan Moore’s 50 snaps led the tight ends this week. Jordan Cameron worked 20 plays and Dan Gronkowski was in on one play.

Vikings 33, Redskins 26

One week after leading the Vikings’ tight ends in snaps for the first time in his career, Kyle Rudolph led the entire offense (well, the RB/WR/TEs) this week. He worked 51 snaps, compared to 44 for Visanthe Shiancoe. Only Devin Aromashodu (WR leader in snaps with 49) ran more pass routes than Rudolph (18 to 16). Percy Harvin was in on 38 plays in this one. Greg Camarillo worked 18 snaps and Emmanuel Arceneaux saw four. Adrian Peterson tore his knee apart on his 25 snap of the afternoon. Toby Gerhart filled in with 28 snaps and Lorenzo Booker chipped in with two of his own.

Evan Royster’s 55 snaps led the Redskins’ offense this week, as Roy Helu was out. Ryan Torain racked up 12 snaps and was waived after the game. Jabar Gaffney paced the wide receivers with 54 snaps. Santana Moss was just behind with 52. Anthony Armstrong’s 32 snaps led the wide receivers. Donte’ Stallworth (27 snaps), Terrence Austin (17), Niles Paul (13), and Brandon Banks (one) also saw action. Logan Paulsen’s 38 snaps led the tight ends. Mike Sellers was in on 10 plays.

Steelers 27, Rams 0

Heath Miller played all 50 snaps to lead the Steelers’ offense in Week 16. Wes Saunders was in on 14 plays and David Johnson handled 31. Mike Wallace’s 44 snaps led the wide receivers. Antonio Brown was in on 26 plays. Jerricho Cotchery worked 18 snaps and Hines Ward saw 16. Rashard Mendenhall’s 28 snaps paced the backs. Isaac Redman was involved on 18 plays. John Clay scored on one of the first three snaps of his career.

Danario Alexander led the Rams’ offense with 61 of a possible 62 snaps played. Brandon Lloyd was in on 46 plays. Brandon Gibson handled 15 snaps and Dominique Curry chipped in on two. Steven Jackson’s 51 snaps led the backs. Cadillac Williams spelled him on 12. Lance Kendricks worked 51 snaps, while Billy Bajema 48. Stephen Spach’s 23 snaps rounded out the TE production.

Titans 23, Jaguars 17

Chris Johnson’s 61 snaps led the Titans’ offense in Week 16. Jamie Harper worked only five plays. Nate Washington’s 54 snaps led the wide receivers. Damian Williams was involved on 53 plays and Lavelle Hawkins saw 36. Donnie Avery (16 snaps) and Marc Mariani (10) also saw some offensive action. Jared Cook worked 38 snaps to lead the tight ends, 35 of which were pass plays. Cook’s 88:8 Pass Play:Run Play ratio over the last two weeks isn’t news, but his 19 targets in that span is. Craig Stevens was in on 29 plays and Daniel Graham handled nine.

Maurice Jones-Drew worked 62 snaps to lead the Jaguars’ offense this week. DuJuan Harris was in on six plays and Montell Owens handled one. Jarett Dillard led the wideouts with 61 snaps. Mike Thomas was in on 58 plays and Chastin West worked 40. Kassim Osgood chipped in on 12 plays. Zach Potter’s 34 snaps led the tight ends. Marcedes Lewis was banged up and played only 27 snaps. Colin Cloherty was in on 26 plays.

Packers 35, Bears 21

Jermichael Finley led the Packers’ offense with 38 snaps played. Tom Crabtree was in on 26 plays. Ryan Taylor and DJ Williams split up 15 snaps pretty evenly. Donald Driver and Jordy Nelson each played 29 snaps to lead the wide receivers. James Jones was in on 26 plays and Randall Cobb saw 24. James Starks’ 22 snaps led the backs. John Kuhn and Ryan Grant were each in on 20 plays. Brandon Saine picked up five snaps late in the easy win.

Roy Williams’ 59 snaps led the Bears’ offense this week. Earl Bennett worked 58 plays and Dane Sanzenbacher was in on 50. Devin Hester was in on 20 offensive plays, while Max Komar saw one. Kellen Davis led the tight ends with 43 snaps and Matt Spaeth was in on 25 plays. Kahlil Bell’s 58 snaps led the backs with Marion Barber out. Armando Allen was the No. 2 RB with 12 snaps played.

Saints 45, Falcons 16

The Saints’ offense was led by Devery Henderson’s 51 snaps in Week 16. Marques Colston was in on 43 plays and Robert Meachem worked 41. Lance Moore saw only seven snaps before aggravating his hamstring. Jimmy Graham’s 51 snaps led the tight ends. John Gilmore was in on 14 snaps. Darren Sproles led the backs with 31 snaps. Pierre Thomas worked 24 plays and Chris Ivory handled 13.

Tony Gonzalez led the Falcons’ offense this week with 70 snaps played. Michael Palmer was in on 14 plays and Reggie Kelley managed nine. Julio Jones’ 67 snaps led the wide receivers. Roddy White was in on 66 plays and Harry Douglas worked 41. Eric Weems racked up 18 snaps. Michael Turner’s 28 snaps led the backs. Jason Snelling was in on 27 plays and Jacquizz Rodgers worked 21.

49ers 19, Seahawks 17

Vernon Davis led the 49ers’ offensive attack this week with 67 snaps played. Justin Peelle was in on 22 plays. Delanie Walker managed 15 snaps before suffering an apparent broken jaw. Michael Crabtree’s 60 snaps led the wideouts. Kyle Williams was in on 41 plays. Braylon Edwards was used on 22 plays and waived after the game. Brett Swain added one snaps. Frank Gore’s 48 snaps led the backs. Kendall Hunter was in on 22 plays.

Zach Miller’s 55 snaps led the Seattle offense this week. Cam Morrah was in on just 14 plays and Anthony McCoy handled 13. Golden Tate’s 55 snaps led the wide receivers. Ben Obomanu worked 49 snaps and Doug Baldwin was in in 27. Ricardo Lockette and Deon Butler (six snaps each) also saw action. Marshawn Lynch’s 36 snaps led the backs. Justin Forsett worked 11 plays and Leon Washington was in on five.
