The weekly offensive snap report is a summary of the participation data for each team's running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends. Although the main focus is snaps, we also cover other important categories like pass routes and designed runs.
All 16 Week 13 Games Now Added
Seahawks 31, Eagles 14
The Seahawks’ offense was led by a 46-snap effort from Zach Miller in Week 13. Cam Morrah was heavily involved, as well, seeing a season-high 38 snaps. Anthony McCoy was in on two plays. With Sidney Rice out for the season, it appears that Golden Tate has bypassed the field and taken over as the top wideout. He played 46 snaps in Week 13. Mike Williams was in on 24 plays and Doug Baldwin saw only 10. Deon Butler made his 2012 debut with eight snaps. He had missed the team’s first 11 games this season recovering from last years’ vicious leg injury. Ben Obomanu saw only seven snaps. The backfield was led by 30 snaps from FB Michael Robinson. Marshawn Lynch carried the ball on 22 of his 29 snaps. Leon Washington managed 12 plays and Justin Forsett saw eight.
Jeremy Maclin was out, again, which allowed Riley Cooper match DeSean Jackson with a WR-leading 54 snaps. Jason Avant was in on 40 plays and Chad Hall added 12. Steve Smith did not play. LeSean McCoy’s 50 snaps easily paced the backs. Ronnie Brown was in on six plays. Brent Celek led the tight ends with 44 snaps. Clay Harbor saw 14.
Titans 23, Bills 17
Damian Williams handled 46 snaps to lead the Titans’ offense. Nate Washington was next up among wide receivers with 40 snaps. Lavelle Hawkins handled 26 plays and Marc Mariani provided a run block on 13 of his 16 snaps. Craig Stevens led the tight ends in snaps for the fourth time in five weeks. He played 41 in Week 13, compared to only 19 for Jared Cook. Cook ran a pass route on 18 of those 19 snaps. Daniel Graham was in on 10 plays. Chris Johnson carried the ball on 23 of his 36 snaps and was targeted on another. Javon Ringer entered the game for 22 plays, 16 of which were passes. FB Ahmard Hall saw four looks on 29 snaps.
Steve Johnson led the Bills’ offense by playing 69 of a possible 70 snaps. Like last week, Brad Smith followed just behind with 64 snaps. David Nelson manned the slot, racking up 45 snaps, 38 of which were pass plays. Naaman Roosevelt saw action on 12 plays and Ruvell Martin added one. Scott Chandler suffered an injury, but not before he racked up 39 snaps. Lee Smith helped out with 18 of his own and Mike Caussin saw 15. CJ Spiller’s 51 snaps easily led the backers. Tashard Choice has stepped right into the No. 2 job, handling 16 snaps. Johnny White saw no action.
Ravens 24, Browns 10
For the first time this season, Anquan Boldin did not lead the Ravens’ wide receiver in snaps. He was in on 60 snaps, while Torrey Smith handled 68. Lee Evans saw exactly 21 snaps for the second week in a row. Ed Dickson led the tight ends with 64 snaps. Dennis Pitta was in on 40 plays. Vonta Leach’s 58 snaps were most among backers. Ray Rice led the tailbacks with 53 snaps and Ricky Williams chipped in with 16 carries on 24 snaps.
Greg Little paced the offense in snaps, once again, this time fielding 54. Mohamed Massaquoi saw 44 snaps and Jordan Norwood handled 29. Josh Cribbs was in on 18 plays. Ben Watson’s 46 snaps led the tight ends. Evan Moore saw three targets on his 14 snaps. Alex Smith was in on five plays. Peyton Hillis handled 32 snaps to lead the backs. Chris Ogbonnaya managed 23 and Montario Hardesty played only one.
Jets 34, Redskins 19
Santonio Holmes led the Jets’ wideouts with 55 snaps in Week 13. Plaxico Burress was involved in 39 snaps. Jeremy Kerley was back in action, but saw just 14 snaps, compared to 19 for Patrick Turner. Dustin Keller’s 48 snaps led the tight ends. Matthew Mulligan was just behind at 40. Josh Baker saw only two. Shonn Greene dominated the running back snaps, handling 53. LaDainian Tomlinson managed only six plays before re-aggravating his injury. Joe McKnight was in on five plays.
Fred Davis was in the game for all 71 snaps on Sunday, which seems appropriate considering they’re likely going to be his final snaps this season due to suspension. His replacement, blocker Logan Paulsen, was in on 25 plays and has played 20+ three weeks in a row. Mike Sellers saw 14 snaps. Santana Moss’ 65 snaps led the wide receivers. Jabar Gaffney was in on 57 plays and Donte’ Stallworth added 21, 18 of which were pass plays. David Anderson (20 snaps), Anthony Armstrong (11), and Niles Paul (two) also saw some action. Roy Helu led the backers with 64 snaps, seeing a look on 28 of those plays. Evan Royster provided relief on five plays.
Texans 17, Falcons 10
Owen Daniels led the Texans’ offensive attack with 62 snaps in Week 13. Joel Dreessen was in on 52 plays, his highest total since Week 5. James Casey was in on 35 plays, but saw zero targets. Arian Foster’s 56 snaps led the backs. Ben Tate was in on 16 plays. Kevin Walter (50 snaps) and Jacoby Jones (42) saw plenty of work with Andre Johnson bowing out with another hamstring injury after only 37 snaps. Bryant Johnson added eight snaps.
Roddy White’s 62 snaps led the Falcons’ offense in Week 13. Julio Jones rebounded from zero targets in Week 12 to 10 targets on 57 snaps this week. Harry Douglas managed 44 snaps and Eric Weems saw four. Tony Gonzalez’s 61 snaps led the tight ends. Reggie Kelly (11 snaps) and Michael Palmer (10) provided their typical dozen or so snaps a piece. Michael Turner’s 35 snaps were enough to lead the backers. Jacquizz Rodgers was in on 18 plays, 17 of which were pass plays, and Jason Snelling saw 15.
Broncos 35, Vikings 32
Eric Decker was in the game on all 50 plays in Week 13. Demaryius Thomas wasn’t far behind, handling 48 snaps. With Eddie Royal leaving the game after only three snaps, Matt Willis saw 15 of his own. Daniel Fells’ 48 snaps paced the tight ends. Virgil Green was in on six plays and Dante Rosario saw one. Willis McGahee’s 31 snaps led the running backs, but FB Spencer Larsen (28 snaps) was right there with him. Lance Ball was in on 19 plays.
Devin Aromashodu had a busy day, working 77 of a possible 81 snaps. Percy Harvin was in on 52 plays, seeing five carries and nine targets. Stephen Burton (41 snaps) worked ahead of Greg Camarillo (eight). Joe Webb was in on seven plays. Visanthe Shiancoe’s 66 snaps easily led the tight ends. Kyle Rudolph managed 20 plays. Toby Gerhart led the running backs with 61 snaps with Adrian Peterson still out. Lorenzo Booker chipped in with 14 snaps. Jim Kleinsasser (41 snaps) and Ryan D’Imperio (18) helped out in the blocking department.
Patriots 31, Colts 24
Rob Gronkowski played all 63 snaps in Week 13. Aaron Hernandez was next up among offensive skill position players with 52 snaps played. Wes Welker paced the wide receivers with 51 snaps and the team with 11 targets. Deion Branch was in on 50 plays. Tiquan Underwood handled 13 snaps, compared to only nine for Chad Ochocinco. Julian Edelman saw five snaps. Stevan Ridley led the backs with 28 snaps. BenJarvus Green-Ellis was in on 16 plays and Kevin Faulk handled 11. Danny Woodhead managed eight snaps. Shane Vereen did not play.
Reggie Wayne’s 68 snaps paced the Colts’ offensive attack. Pierre Garcon was in on 66 plays. Austin Collie ran a pass route on 25 of his 34 snaps. Anthony Gonzalez saw five snaps. Jacob Tamme’s 55 snaps led the tight ends. Anthony Hill was in on 29 plays. Donald Brown’s 35 snaps paced the running backs. Joe Addai was in on 32 plays and Delone Carter saw only four. New FB Jerome Felton was in on 20 snaps.
Chiefs 10, Bears 3
Steve Breaston paced the Chiefs’ offense in Week 13 with 58 snaps played. Dwayne Bowe was just behind at 53 snaps and Jon Baldwin handled 40. Jerheme Urban (21 snaps), Terrance Copper (eight), and Jeremy Horne (one) saw limited action. Dexter McCluster worked 34 snaps, racking up nine carries and five targets. Thomas Jones’ 25 snaps more than doubled Jackie Battle’s 12. Anthony Becht played 39 snaps this week, which means he has led the tight ends in snaps two weeks in a row. Leonard Pope, again, worked as the No. 2 with 25 snaps. Jake O’Connell appears to be out of a favor, as he has not played since Week 11.
Johnny Knox’s 47 snaps paced the Bears’ offense this week. Roy Williams handled 32 and Earl Bennett was just behind at 27. Devin Hester had played only three offensive snaps since Week 9 entering this game, but was in on 22 plays this time around. He actually ran more pass routes (16) than Williams (15). Sam Hurd (four snaps) and Dane Sanzenbacher (two) picked up the scraps. Kellen Davis’ 46 snaps easily paced the tight ends. Matt Spaeth was involved on 22 plays. Matt Forte suffered a knee injury, limiting him to just nine snaps. Marion Barber filled in with 24 snaps and Kahlil Bell handled 22. Bell was in on 17 pass plays, compared to 10 for Barber.
Panthers 38, Bucs 19
Greg Olsen’s 45 snaps paced the Panthers’ offense in Week 13. Jeremy Shockey was in on 31 plays and Ben Hartsock helped out on 12. Steve Smith also played 45 snaps, which led the wideouts. Brandon LaFell (44 snaps) played ahead of Legedu Naanee (30), once again, likely because Naanee is not yet back to 100% health. Seyi Ajirotutu handled nine snaps after seeing just 10 all season coming into the week. Armanti Edwards saw his first action since Week 3 with seven snaps. Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams all but split the running back snaps right down the middle. Carolina called a run on 23 of Stewart’s 32 snaps and 16 of Williams’ 31 snaps.
Mike Williams handled 53 of a possible 56 snaps in Week 13 to lead the Tampa offense. Arrelious Benn racked up 33 snaps and Dez Briscoe rebounded from a seven-snap Week 12 by managing 21 this week. Sam Stroughter (17 snaps) just edged out Preston Parker (15). Kellen Winslow’s 53 snaps led the tight ends. Luke Stocker was in on 26 plays and Zach Pianalto saw three. LeGarrette Blount’s 25 snaps paced the backs. Mossis Madu carried the ball eight times on 17 snaps in his NFL debut. Kregg Lumpkin saw 14 snaps.
Saints 31, Lions 17
Jimmy Graham worked 44 snaps to lead the Saints’ offense in Week 13. John Gilmore was in on 27 plays. Marques Colston paced the wide receivers with 43 snaps. Devery Henderson was in on 41 plays and Robert Meachem saw 35. Lance Moore played only 19 snaps, but ran just two fewer pass routes than Meachem. Mark Ingram’s 16 carries and 25 snaps led the backs. Darren Sproles was in on 23 plays, running a pass route on 17. Pierre Thomas played only 14 snaps, 12 of which were pass plays.
Calvin Johnson’s 67 snaps led the Lions’ offense in Week 13. Nate Burleson was in on 58 plays. Titus Young was benched during parts of the second half and managed only 20 snaps. Rashied Davis helped out with 13 snaps, Maurice Stovall added four, and Stefan Logan saw one. Brandon Pettigrew’s 64 snaps led the tight ends. Tony Scheffler benefited from Young’s benching, racking up 31 snaps. Will Heller saw action on 19 plays. Kevin Smith played 24 snaps before leaving with an injury. Maurice Morris filled in with 40 snaps and Keiland Williams saw four.
Steelers 35, Bengals 7
Heath Miller’s 54 snaps were enough to lead the Steelers’ offensive attack in Week 13. Weslye Saunders was in on 23 plays and David Johnson saw 32. Mike Wallace led the wide receivers with 50 snaps. Antonio Brown was in on 28 plays and Hines Ward followed with 20. Emmanuel Sanders saw only 16 snaps and Jerricho Cotchery added 10. Rashard Mendenhall’s 26 snaps led the running backs. Isaac Redman was involved on 22 plays and Mewelde Moore saw three before suffering an injury. Jonathan Dwyer filled in with seven snaps.
A.J. Green led the Bengals’ offense with 54 snaps. Jerome Simpson followed with 41 and Andre Caldwell added 26. Andrew Hawkins managed 14 snaps and Brandon Tate saw two. Jermaine Gresham’s 51 snaps easily led the tight ends. Colin Cochart was in on 24 plays. Cedric Benson carried the ball on 13 of his 28 snaps. Bernard Scott racked up 10 snaps and Brian Leonard was targeted on four of his five snaps.
Packers 38, Giants 35
Greg Jennings handled 70 of a possible 77 snaps in Week 13 to lead the Green Bay offense. Jordy Nelson was next among receivers with 47. James Jones was in on 34 plays and Donald Driver saw 32. Randall Cobb was involved on 19 plays. Jermichael Finley saw 61 snaps to lead the tight ends. Tom Crabtree was in on 21 plays and Andrew Quarless handled 17 before going down with a season-ending injury. The backs were led by Ryan Grant’s 28 snaps. James Starks added only 14 snaps before suffering a game-ending injury. Brandon Saine filled in with 11 looks on 21 snaps. John Kuhn handled 21 snaps.
Jake Ballard played all 62 snaps on Sunday to lead the Giants’ offense. Bear Pascoe and Travis Beckum were each in on nine plays and Henry Hynoski saw 21. Ahmad Bradshaw’s 29 snaps led the backs. New York called a pass on 17 of Danny Ware’s 19 snaps. Brandon Jacobs carried the ball on eight of his 14 snaps. Victor Cruz led the wideouts with 59 snaps, but Hakeem Nicks was only one back and matched him with 39 pass routes. Ramses Barden handled No. 3 duties with Mario Manningham. He saw 24 snaps.
Dolphins 34, Raiders 14
Anthony Fasano’s 63 snaps paced the Dolphins’ offensive attack. Jeron Mastrud was involved on 23 plays and Charles Clay helped out on 34. Brandon Marshall’s 62 snaps paced the wide receivers. Brian Hartline managed 31 and Davone Bess saw the field for 29. Clyde Gates (eight) and Julius Pruitt (two) chipped in, as well. Reggie Bush’s 46 snaps easily carried the backfield. Daniel Thomas carried the ball on 13 of his 28 snaps. Lex Hilliard was in on 17 plays.
Denarius Moore and Jacoby Ford were both out, which allowed Darrius Heyward-Bey to lead the wide receivers with 53 snaps. Chaz Schilens also started and saw 42 snaps. Louis Murphy helped out on 35 plays and TJ Houshmandzadeh managed 16 snaps. Darren McFadden was also out, allowing 51 snaps for Michael Bush. Taiwan Jones was still out, too, so Rock Cartwright saw a snap and Marcel Reece played 28. Brandon Myers’ 29 snaps led the tight ends, but Kevin Boss was just behind with 26.
Chargers 38, Jaguars 14
Vincent Jackson played 48 of a possible 54 snaps to lead the San Diego offense. Malcom Floyd was back in action and saw 39 snaps. Patrick Crayton worked 12 snaps, playing over Vincent Brown, who saw only five snaps. Richard Goodman played six. Antonio Gates’ 44 snaps carried the tight ends. Randy McMichael added 32 and Kory Sperry managed eight. Ryan Mathews saw a look on 16 of his 25 snaps. Mike Tolbert was in on 25 plays. Jacob Hester saw 20 snaps and Curtis Brinkley added six.
Mike Thomas’ 54 snaps paced the Jaguars’ tweaked offense in Week 13. Jarett Dillard (47 snaps) worked as the No. 2 wideout with Jason Hill sent packing. Cecil Shorts saw 29 snaps and Chastin West added 22. Kassim Osgood managed only three snaps. Marcedes Lewis led the tight ends with 39 snaps, but Zach Potter was just behind with 30. Fendi Onobun made his Jaguars’ debut with 12 snaps played. Maurice Jones-Drew’s 43 snaps led the backs. Deji Karim was a healthy scratch, allowing 13 snaps for DuJuan Harris as the No. 2 back. Montell Owens added nine.
Cardinals 19, Cowboys 13
Larry Fitzgerald’s 55 snaps led the Cardinals’ offense in Week 13. Andre Roberts followed just behind with 50. Early Doucet ran a pass route on 22 of his 28 snaps. DeMarco Sampson (six snaps) and Jaymar Johnson (one) saw limited action. Jeff King played 35 snaps to lead the tight ends. Todd Heap was out, again, allowing 20 snaps for Rob Housler and 11 for Jim Dray. Beanie Wells carried the ball 20 times on 37 snaps. LaRod Stephens-Howling’s game-winning touchdown came on one of his eight snaps. Chester Taylor chipped in on five plays.
Jason Witten’s 67 snaps paced the Dallas offense in Week 13. John Phillips worked 41 snaps with Tony Fiammetta still out. Shaun Chapas saw eight snaps and Martellus Bennett was in on 13 plays. Dez Bryant led the wideouts in snaps for the first time since Week 9, this week with 54 snaps played. Laurent Robinson missed some action with a minor injury, but still played 50 snaps. Kevin Ogletree helped out with 31 snaps and Jesse Holley saw seven. DeMarco Murray paced the backs with 38 snaps played. Felix Jones was in on 26 plays.
49ers 26, Rams 0
Vernon Davis led the 49ers offense in Week 13 with 57 snaps played. Delanie Walker was in on 37 plays and Justin Peelle saw seven. Michael Crabtree’s 40 snaps paced the wide receivers. Ted Ginn followed with 38 snaps with Braylon Edwards out. Kyle Williams handled 27 snaps and Brett Swain managed seven. Frank Gore racked up 37 snaps to lead the backs. Kendall Hunter was in on 24 plays and Anthony Dixon saw four.
Austin Pettis and Brandon Lloyd each played 32 snaps on Sunday, which led the Rams’ offensive attack. Brandon Gibson (23 snaps) and Danario Alexander (22) followed just behind at the wide receiver position. Nick Miller was in on just one play. Lance Kendricks worked 30 snaps, while Billy Bajema saw 19 and Stephen Spach managed 18. Steven Jackson’s 29 snaps led the backs with Jerious Norwood offering relief on 19 plays.
