Led by superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers, the Green Bay Packers check in at No. 7 on the 2014 fantasy power rankings. The lack of a legitimate fantasy tight end is the only thing keeping the Packers from vying for the top spot.
The Packers offer fantasy owners 33.9 percent more value compared to the average NFL team and 75.9 percent of the value compared to the NFL’s best team.
Rodgers could challenge Peyton Manning for the title of best fantasy quarterback in 2014. He was the third highest-scoring fantasy quarterback on a per-game basis in the eight games he played last season, tossing 17 touchdowns and racking up 2,509 yards in that span. Those numbers put him on pace for 34 touchdowns and over 5,000 yards.
