Fantasy Power Rankings No. 20 — Miami

CORRECTS TO TOUCHDOWN, NOT SET UP FOR A TOUCHDOWN - Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brian Hartline (82) dives for the end zone to score a touchdown during the second half of an NFL football game against the Arizona Cardinals, Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, in Glendale, Ariz. (AP Photo/Matt York)

ryan-tannehill02While the Miami Dolphins have fantasy options at every position, none are projected to be impact players, causing the team to check in at No. 20 on the 2014 fantasy power rankings.

The Dolphins offer fantasy owners 86.5 percent of the value compared to the average NFL team and 49 percent of the value compared to the NFL’s best team.

Quarterback Ryan Tannehill is entering his third year in the league and, for the most part, fantasy owners are optimistic about his potential. He finished with the 15th most fantasy points among all quarterbacks last season after throwing for nearly 4,000 yards with a TD/INT ratio of 24/17. Improvement in 2014 means he could flirt with QB1 territory (starter quality), but he’s more likely to serve as a top fantasy backup.
