If you’re reading this, congratulations. You have made it to Week 2 of your fantasy football playoffs and you’re likely one week from the championship. Obviously, every game and every point are important at this stage. The difference between continuing on in the playoffs or bitterly watching games with nothing on the line outside of DFS could be that one fumble recovery or fourth down stop that kept a team from getting into field goal range.
Last week was probably your last chance to lock up the Chiefs defense, which has scored double-digit fantasy points in four of their last five games. Having a defense that can score points like the Chiefs gives you such an advantage in the playoffs. Even if you’re still without an elite defense, there are plenty of good options this week that are likely unowned in your league. Target home teams that play opportunistic defense and force turnovers.
With many NFL teams eliminated from playoff contention, they’ll likely be playing their younger players to evaluate them for next season. Make sure you take advantage of these situations by targeting defenses who are playing teams no longer in playoff contention.
