Fantasy football trade value chart: Week 7

We’re flying through the fantasy season, and with Week 7 now upon us, there’s only a month or so left — in most leagues, at least — before the trade deadline approaches. So if you’re in need of a change prior to a playoff push, you’ll need to start thinking of some deals sooner rather than later.

You can use the trade value chart to help with that. The trade value chart relies on our rest-of-season projections. The dollar amounts assume a 12-team league and a starting lineup of 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, and 1 Flex. The players are displayed in order of their standard league values, but we’ve included the PPR values for those players as well.

Below are a few trade questions received on Twitter and answered with the help of the trade value chart.

Would you trade Andrew Luck for Alshon Jeffery? I have Russell Wilson at quarterback too. — @Dgoza24

Yes, I would make this trade, and I think it’s a fair trade, despite the fact Jeffery has been a disappointment so far this season. Jeffery still ranks in the top 10 in receiving yards so far this season, and he is remarkably the only receiver in the top 35 in terms of receiving yards who hasn’t scored a touchdown.

Some touchdowns are on their way, especially when you consider that Jeffery is among the leaders in the league in terms of “end-zone targets” — i.e. aimed throws to the receiver in the end zone. That’s a stat courtesy of our own Scott Barrett.

Hey Tyler, great article as always. I have a question. I am looking to dump Jordan Howard off as I am not RB needy and I don’t love his schedule ROS, or his likelihood to be involved in what will likely end up a committee.

The Allen Robinson owner is desperately trying to dump him off, and I feel I may be able to make that trade happen. However, I hate Robinson’s schedule ROS. Does his playoff schedule (Den, Min, Hou, Ten) scare you guys at all?

  • Jared Mannen

Why so low on Lamar Miller?? Given less value (PPR) than Riddick or Forte? Compare that to the CBS trade value chart where Miller is ~3x more valuable than those guys. I don’t get it. Could you explain?

    Hey Tyler,

Thanks for the article, read it every week. So I am (3-3)
and have Gurley, Christine Michael, Gore, and Bernard as my RBs with Lewis on
IR. I currently have Fleener as my TE but was wondering if I should trade
someone like Gore for Kelce? I have Benjamin, Robinson, Nelson, Sanders, and J
Brown as my WRs. Thank you.

MY QBs – Ryan and Bortles, RBs – Hyde, Freeman, Mathews,
Crowell, Jennings, and McKinnon, WRs – OBJ, Evans, Marvin Jones, TY Hilton, and
Cameron Meredith, TE – Kelce. I was wondering if I should trade Marvin Jones
for an upgrade at RB like Doug Martin, Jamaal Charles, Mark Ingram, or someone
in that range or just hold tight? I am currently 2-4 but have the most points
so had some bad luck. Thanks.

  • Jeff

    I
am currently (3-3) and I have a question regarding whether to upgrade at QB or
TE. My QBs – Manning and Mariota and TE – Eifert (I have been streaming each
week). My RBs – David Johnson, Lamar Miller, Matt Jones, and Yeldon and my WRs –
Brown, Jeffrey, Fitzgerald, Edelman, Michael Thomas, and Jarvis Landry. I was
wondering if I should trade someone like Edelman to get either a TE or a QB
    upgrade. Thanks.

You have D.Pitta at $7.3 and M.Bennett at $1.9…seems like they should be at least even if not tipped in Bennett’s direction.

    • Tyler Duma

I would assume that comes from the fact that Pitta has worked out to be the 7th ranked TE in a standard, full point PPR league without scoring a single touchdown. On top of that, there’s bound to be some regression for Bennett as Gronkowski continues to work back to full health. Bennet could probably be rated higher than he is, but he’s somewhat touchdown dependent.

      • John

True, but that valuation (which is for non-PPR scoring) still seems a bit crazy. Take away Bennett’s 4 TDs and he’s still ahead of Pitta in a full PPR. Bennett also appears to be getting boost from Brady being back.

Hey Tyler, I’m looking to drop Arian Foster and Bilal Powell is available in my league. I was just wondering why you have him valued so high?
